I thought random commenters were done with the “Well since X is better than Y, it means Y is good now” after the Sequel Trilogy flopped. Just because the Snyder Cut is better than the Theatrical Cut doesn’t suddenly mean the Snyder Cut is suddenly a masterpiece of filmmaking. Writing is still all over the place and the story is bloated with a lot of fluff it doesn’t need.

Justice League sucks. The Snyder cut sucks in slow motion and for two extra hours. Normally I agree with MOST of your guys' takes (not all, but most), but man this is one where I just have to disagree across the board with your take on Snyder's cut. Snyder League is even worse than Josstice League. Both movies were pain but Snyder League is even more pain, with an extra two hours of the torture tacked on. Snyder's never been good. He got lucky with 300 and even then only because the entire movie was just one long action sequence. Any time, and I mean ANY time that Snyder has to develop or even just simply start creating actual characters, his garbage falls apart. His sycophantic fanboys (whom he openly and directly has stated he doesn't care about the opinions of nor wants anything to do with) slurp his garbage-juice up, and then go on to praise the likes of Picard/Discovery and Disney Wars. Snyder's fanboys are the slack-jawed mouthbreathing dudebros you guys seem to find in such contempt. Yet here you are, sitting alongside them, CLAPPING, CLAPPING WHEN YOU SAW IT. Bear in mind that Snyder had an additional 4 years to make this movie. He knew that nobody wanted his original grim version. That's why Steppenwolf is not the terrible unfinished looking mess that we got in the theatrical release. Who knows what Snyder changed BECAUSE it didn't work. That's why Superman's scream that awakens the mother boxes is not at the end of BVS. Even Superman in this movie is a retcon of Snyder's version from his other movies. Snyder fixes stuff that he may well have been responsible for in the first place. This is a superior version of an inferior movie. It isn't good! If Snyder had gotten his original version released 4 years ago, we WOULDN'T have got THIS movie. And it OBVIOUSLY wasn't originally filmed in this ratio!

The Snyder cut and the theatrical cut are both pretty awful. Serious plot issues and minimal character development. Snyder's cut, though, has even less character development despite all of the lines he was able to add because he also removed a lot of the original character motivated dialogue. Snyder's cut is slightly more entertaining, but holy hell his dialogue is awful and the plot holes are way larger in this version as well.

I'm amazed you guys didn't bring up the fuck up Whedon did with the superman vs justice league fight where the reason he's fighting them in the Snyder cut is because he's confused and shaken but in the Whedon cut, he's doing it for the exact same reason yet he can somehow clearly recall events from the previous film when he attacks batman.
